Make me mellow tea

It’s OK. I know you go to bed at 10pm these days. But you can still get really creative with your tea-brewing prowess. Different herbal teas, which sometimes contain thousands of beneficial active compounds, have their own distinctive healing uses.

Camomile is one of the most widely used herb teas, highly regarded for its digestive and calming properties. An excellent remedy for menstrual cramps is an infusion of camomile flowers (you can use either bags or loose flowers if you have a strainer) with a few slices of ginger. This remedy is also good for common colds, digestive disorders, nervousness and insomnia.

My chinese doctor recommends seeping 5 bags in boiling water for five minutes. Then pull out the bags and add either honey or agave (a delicious sweetner much lower on the glycemic index).
